GFHS at the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Llŷn ac Eifionydd, Boduan 2023

Gwynedd Family History Society volunteers will be manning the society stands 136/137 at the Eisteddfod in Boduan from the 5th to the 12th of August, 2023. Our experienced volunteers are looking forward to chatting with you and hopefully providing advice on what you could do to break those family history "brick walls".

Our President, Mr John Dilwyn Williams, will be giving a lecture in the Societies 2 stand on "Gwreiddiau Robert ap Gwilym Ddu (1766-1850) yn Llŷn ac Eifionydd,  Arfon a Meirionnydd" at 2.30 on August 9th. Certain to be popular, remember to make a note in your diary!

You can also join the Society on the Eisteddfod field or if already a member, volunteer to help transcribe memeorial inscriptions. Being a volunteer can give you the opportunity to learn new skills, meet people with similar interests, and contribute to a local charity.

We will also have a "Children's Corner" with genealogy related quizzes and colouring in activities! Or why not try to win a publication of your choice in our "Buy a Parish" lottery - £1 a parish!
