The GFHS Resource Centre

Due to the proposed improvements to Caernarfon Library, the Society's Resource Centre is moving, temporarily, on the 7th of September 2026 ito:

On every 3rd Saturday afternoon in the month we are open to members and visitors between 2 and 5pm.

The centre is adapted with tables for research use and access is provided to the rooms which house our collections.

Volunteers from the Committee, who are experienced family historians, are there to offer help with our resources and offer general advice on researching family trees.

Car Parking

There are several car parks (pay and display) near to Yr Aelwyd. Information is available on the Gwynedd County Council website.
